This soundboard was used as a live effects bank for a pantomime that featured live action with realistic light sabres. The effects were fired in real time during the performance.
Video Feedback
November 2005Live social experiments based on the accidental discovery of video feedback. This feedback happens when a video camera is recording an image of what it is seeing and a loop is created - rather like a digital moving image version of two mirrors facing eachother. Colourful and intricate patterns can be created if the setup is correct, and users can interact with the image to create different patterns. A video feedback loop was set up at a party, and it was interesting to observe the guests’ interaction with the moving images projected on the screen.
